Global Media Alliance (GMA) Group, on December 12, 2024, held an end-of-year All-White Thanksgiving Service to express gratitude for a successful year.
The ceremony, held at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall, brought together staff from Happy FM, YFM, YTV, Silverbird Cinemas, eProductions, Perception Management International, and Global Media Alliance.
The event began with an opening prayer delivered by Apostle Joshua Marion Addae of Worldwide Worship Centre, followed by a period of worship and praise led by Eunice Tornyi, Business Lead for E Productions.
Staff were further uplifted by a ministration from Minister Michael Addo and his choir, whose performance prepared hearts and minds for a powerful message.
Reverend Festus Addo, General Overseer of the Manifold Grace Mission Church, delivered an exhortation titled “Don’t Forget To Say Thank You”, perfectly aligning with the event’s theme scripture, Psalm 100:4.
A prayer chain led by affiliate preachers, including Prophet Ben Opoku Acheampong and Prophet Joshua Nunoo, focused on inspiring hope and setting intentions for a promising and fulfilling year ahead.
Chief Executive Officer of the GMA Group, Ernest Boateng, commended the resilience and professionalism displayed by staff throughout the year.
“We are going into the new year with hope and determination. As we reflect on all that has happened within the year, let’s trust Him. When we reflect on the past months, I think we realize that it has not been an easy 12 months. There have been some economic challenges, prices have gone up, markets are shifting, we lost some deals and got some deals.”
He encouraged staff to stay committed and end the year on a strong note. “As the year is drawing to a close, we still have a few weeks left; we have to finish strong. Let’s put in that final burst of energy, meet those targets, and close those final deals.”
Staff expressed gratitude and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to strengthen the company’s reputation for delivering great results across the conglomerate.
