e.TV Ghana, your world of quality entertainment, has aired the second season of the exciting women’s programme, the ‘African Women’s Voices’.
The ‘African Women’s Voices’ is a one-hour live television program packed with discussions centred on women empowerment, entrepreneurship, dealing with domestic violence and a segment dedicated to women’s health.
The season two promises to be exciting with discussion centred on inspirational women making strides in the world. The focus for the topic on education will look at the headmistress who turned Nyakoa Secondary School into a first-class school. The young Ghanaian girl who was appointed an advisory member of Oxford University. The Ghanaian nurse who became a vegetable farmer and the year of return through the lens of Bozoma will all feature this season.
Eunice Dede Tornyi, a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University comes on board as the host of ‘African Women’s Voices’ with a rich experience in broadcasting and television presentation; she was a presenter for ‘Sunrise morning show’ on TV3, ‘Soundcity’ on Ghana Television (GTV), and Wienco Weather Reporter for seven (7) years on GTV.
The multi-lingual host is fluent in English, Fante, Igbo and can communicate in French and Yoruba.
She is currently a Public Relations (PR) Account Manager at Global Media Alliance.
As a voice over artist she has voiced numerous documentaries and jingles from government to corporate and social events. She also voiced the jingles and documentaries for the Total African Cup of Nations hosted in Ghana in 2018.
Eunice is currently pursuing Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at GIMPA and has acted in stage plays for the past ten (10) years under the tutelage of the prolific writer and director Nii Commey (Laugh for Lives Africa), using theatre as a tool for rural and national development across all the regions of Ghana.
As an activist for women and children, she has worked on projects like Ghana Against Child abuse with UNICEF, Iron deficiency alleviation with Nestle Ghana, E-waste management by GIZ, Hand washing campaign with lifebuoy, Obaasema campaign with GIZ (providing nutrition for women of productive age), Milo breakfast campaign for community mothers across the regions of Ghana, African social impact festival to bring community and social projects.
The second season of African Women’s Voices airs on e.TV every Tuesday at 4pm, and will be repeated every Saturday at 12 noon. The show will be produced by Lawrenda Lumor Danso, an experienced producer in social and entertainment shows.
Lorenda Lumor Danso joined e.TV Ghana seven (7) years ago as a production assistant on shows like ‘talk showbiz’, ‘e on e’, ‘girl talk’ and climbed steadily to become a substantive producer.
As a producer Lorenda has worked with some industry greats like Dzifa Afranie, Eddy Blay, Vanessa Gyan, Giovanni Caleb, Paul Anomah Kordieh among a host of others.
